Everything was phenomenal. Had a gumbo, BBQ shrimp, fish of the day and seafood platter... Everything seemed to get better as we progressed... Found it funny that another had said the chef wasn't afraid of "brown on brown"... Now understand... Food wasn't picture worthy, but it was damn tasty.

My favorite NOLA restaurant. Chef Frank Brigtsen studied under Chef Paul Prudhomme - my old favorite. Chef Frank cooks NOLA classics but he is not stuck in the old days. It is a cozy family place with wonderful service and the food is always the best. Yes it is uptown but a short walk from the trolley line. And you could stop for a drink at The Columns Hotel on the way like we do.
